Crash

eventually
wildfires
rip through the streets
where old wood is left
to lay, so long
uninspired
by smaller fires
of a vigilant
eternal flame
lighting the downtrodden's
road
giving them real reason
to hope

sticks meant to hold
picket signs
are eventually
radicalized
into smashing
windows in
i'm not saying
it's not a sin
just
inevitable
that unanswered
prayers
having not been given
stable wings
will fall from the sky
and crash into things

Eventually we have to look at

Eventually we have to look at the aftermath of society's failures and dysfunction. You sketched it so well: not one word wasted and every word crucial and every sharp line plummeting to the natural conclusion of disappointments and rage. Stark reality, brilliantly penned.

Thank you Patricia

If we do not self examine, eventually mirrors still chase us down and surround us, even if in the form of scattering broken glass.

Prayers Unmet

Crash - when the plate is empty. When the body fails or a supply line burps. Businesss will crash unable to afford money. 1 million evictions estimated here annually - no data base, no usa dept to track and help the safetynetters. 33 billion for Urlkraine - I have the great pure and healthy-water crisis going on here. 33 whole billion with usa economy stretched supporting the global elite. What will usa and russkie olgarques do when assets yatchs sold and virtual currency stashes confiscated to go to free Ukraine? Back an oligarch into a poverty corner and they just might nuke em. All or nothing - thug wars. congress and senate need to teach Joey how to think like a crminal. 33 billion???!!!!!!

I applaud the theme of this write. Unanswered behests become failed wings. Crashes that result will be giantine.

According to at least 1

According to at least 1 study, 20 billion would get all homeless people off of the street and into shelter of their own. Dying empires always find money for war. They generally die from the inside out, rather than the reverse.

Thank you, as always, for both your insight and your support.
