My Butterfly

Folder:
In Dedication

I took you,
A tiny scared and crying girl,
And turned you into who you are today.

You hold your head up high,
And know that you are beautiful,
And I am proud to scream that I am your friend.

I took you and boosted your confidence,
Showed you the brave and crazy girl I saw inside you,
I took your hand and dragged you onstage.

I might have taken your hand,
and dragged you halfway,
But you were the wings that carried me the other half.

I am proud of you, my tailor,
For what you have achieved,
I may take little credit, I was only the caccoon.

Author's Notes/Comments:

To the girl whom I feel like is my daughter (despite the fact in order for that to be realistically possible, two year olds have to be able to be pregnant.) Love ya bunches Kathryn. And hope that one day you will see how truely beautiful you are.

Loved this. Totally reminded

Loved this. Totally reminded me of someone I deeply care about. And who did something quite similar for me. :) I forget to suspend my love and gratitude...

If your mirror doesn't find you one of the most beautiful people it has ever seen, punch it and find a better mirror.
