Who refuses
To turn a blind eye
And insists on helping

Other reason
Than it is right
Because believe me
You do that
You will never
Have trouble
Sleeping at night
Because your conscience
Will be clear
And for once
You will have
No one to fear
You write really well

Your usage of the two words "mentally blind" are fascinating.
The lines a little longer will make the poems better reading
If your DOB revealed on PP is correct then a little effort on rhyming could add stars to your efforts
