Deep Inside

Folder:
Dark Poetry

No one knows,

how hard it turns.

When the fire inside you,

refuses to burn.

Anger and pain,

is all you have left.

Your heart doesn’t beat,

inside of your chest.

You have it all,

or so it seems.

Yet all it is,

is unachievable dreams.

They don’t see.

They can’t understand.

The thoughts in your head.

The soul that’s been damned.

You carry on still,

living a lie.

No one knows,

inside, you die.

The pain continues;

the depression is there.

Nothing will help,

no one will care.

You lie awake,

and wonder why,

your eyes refuse,

to let you cry.

You slit your wrists.

No physical pain.

Your blood flows free.

It keeps you sane.

You hide it all,

but don’t know how,

you feel so alone,

within the crowd.

These thoughts inside,

cannot be swayed,

by people’s views,

and other’s ways.

They will never get,

the fucked up way,

I live my life,

day to day.

This is well done... Depressing enough though.I like how you fit the rhymes in even the half rhymes sound good. :)
