She's the only one for me
She's the only one I've found
In silence she waits for me
'til I'm without a sound
She's everything the night embodies
Her beauty is true as steel
Come dance on the Devil's playground
The dead around me is all I feel
She holds me in her silence
She steals away my heart
So no one can ever hurt me
She loves with the fierce of the dark
She's everything that I imagine
She's nothing I could ever dream
Come dance inside her chambers
Where no one can hear you scream
She holds me in her stillness
She's the only one who truly loves me
She's the cold embrace of death
Only through her can I be free
She's everything the night embodies
She's nothing I could ever dream
Come dance in the Devil's chambers
Come dance, dance and be free
Being depressed does suck, yes. My solution to depression? Maybe... not be so depressed all the time? Now, for the poem. The alternating rhyming couplets are well delivered, flowing, and powerfully worded. The mainstay of the poem is, I assume, that one loves another, but the another does not necessarily love the one. It seems there is so much more pain attributed to love than anything else, sometimes.
