THANKFUL FOR THE STARS
May we be blessed to acknowledge all the wonders in our life
that have, for us, thus far accrued…
and to begin each day with a word of thanks…
and thoughts of gratitude.
Today I’m thankful for the stars
for I’ve heard it expressed…
once our dreams are formed
Stars…are where they go to rest.
Where they are gathered up by angels
(because that’s what angels do)
and on the wings of angels they are taken
to the place where dreams come true
I have been reading Poetry
I have been reading Poetry for decades, and have never seen a poem exactly like this one in its use of the stars.
