I had given up,
no longer dreamed
of things
that might be.
A failure
was all I could see.
You came into my life
with encouragement,
gave me confidence
to face my fears,
and dreams to dream,
though some were never
meant to be.
Now one is coming true,
but I can't share
You no longer are part
of my life,
but always remain
in my heart
and dreams.
i liked how you were able to flow that into letting it go...
Damn skippy.
but usually a poem is only a word joined together until it is finished, then you get up from your desk and feel feelings... some diminish... some just stay brightly... like an insomniac's watching tower....
Great Piece
Jan:
