The Lost Bird and the Lonely Man

The end

The time that mends

Broken hearts

Never heard such a crash

When the wind is everywhere

You are not to be found

When the rain comes pouring down

You are never around

Time heals

When all is lost

You walk alone

Through the ditches

With grass overgrown

Faith has hope

Hope has faith

Only time now

Till I make my escape

Circles, they break

I cross to the square

The place where I found her

Just standing there

She once ran away

But then she returned

Made all these promises

But then never learned

Lies

They heal sometimes

When the hurt and the dispare

Is too much to bear

They find their way back

Just to knock you off track

Tell the friends that you care

And that you will always be there

I once knew a man

He had it all

He once had a plan

And he'd see through it all

One day a bird came

And with her, he flew away

Never to return again

His plans- ruined today

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this after readin a random poem on someone's site, her poem was about moving on...she compared herself as South to the man as North...I liked it so much, it enspired me to write this...not completely similar, but the same idea.
