Don't stop having faith in 'Allah'

Don't stop praying to 'Bhagwan'

Don't stop worshipping 'Christ'

Don't stop your love and Devotion;

All religion, echo, Equality

Fact only one; we human -- from the same Father

Come. As Brother -- child learn. The bad shun. Be Good

In lieu; Knowing war as unholy and peace Holy

Our dews; through our conscience and Instincts

Let's not get Jealous;

One another in anger -- Kill

Let our words of Love;

Bear the Meaningful --

We'll say; No;

To the Odds;

Of life with Patience

And knowledge -- Qualifying --

We the world Races

With our human Status

Working in all good faith and Trust;

With warmth; Best Regards and Understandings

Wishing one another -- A life without Violence

Or hurling abuse, attacks. Never our strong Will

Does ever break; into acts of Xenophobia;

Unanimously we'll wish and say; "Yes"

To Love Peace and Happiness;

Enthusiastic -- Zealous!

Years ago, here in the United States, we used to have prayer in schools and the world was a much better place. The more we separate ourselves from God, the faster we're heading towards damnation. God help us all.

Ernest Bevans's picture

The basic precept behind religion is feeding mankind's spiritual need by preaching a God of Love and equal and unconditional acceptance for all, which unfortunately is corupted by selfish political ambitions, greed and a lust for power.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if man returned to the God of Love?

Shashi Krishna's picture

A prayer sung in harmony of self-existence and tolerance to world religions. Well written literature that echoes the thoughts of a peace loving human being.

Well done. Keep up the good work.

This, I hope, will be one of the random poems. Then people will read it and a few, of them, will respond. Thank you for understanding my poem. Most do not understand what they read.

then let love be the new relegion in this world.

Vivid is our world...that creates confusion too,thats whats going on for...say from the start of humanity.
So all thats around,differences,in race..in relegion...its good in away cus it add to the variety.
But if get too posessed withthe outer differnces the inner eqanimity will be hidden,un noticed and thats what happend,
reason for all the wars and voilence.
So lets hop the world finally wake to the truth of oneness and love...bringing unity all around.
I appreciate your work...a nice outlook and the best possible approach one should have.
Keep writing.

You are so right. We are all the same inside, whether we are Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, etc. Instead of focusing on these differences, we should concentrate on being what we are, a world of diverse, and yet similar, people. We should love each other for our differrences, not hate.

Amen. Good write. I blame the world's problems on lines. Lines become divisions. Lines become differences. Lines become prisons. Lines one a map becomes boundaries between cities and creates rivalaries. Lines around states, you have states rights that take their peoples money and livelihoods in different ways. You have lines around nations, creating divisive forces in the world and fencing its people in and other peoples out. From our birth we are given boundaries and lines that become our little prisons. From crib to playpen, to house, to "our" block, to "our City", to ... the lines are moved ever outward, but there are always a line that moulds our perceptions and thoughts and how we see others.

Let us eliminate our lines and the competition to destroy each other and seek ways to feed our hungry, our diseased, and provide homes and work for our homeless. It takes eliminating the lines and replacing them with peace and love.
