At The Apostle Saint John's Gospel 19
Beneath Christ's cross, both priest and pharisee
thought only of self-righteous history;
and laughed to scorn this man from Galilee
Who hung before them. Yet, not in defeat:
His last words---"It is finished!"---made complete
Salvation's great and graceful victory;
and life for us, safe in eternity.

This is a very good historical/biblical poem. It is powerfull and it makes you think. Rae
