You can do better they say
What if I can't?
Why should I deserve better?
I must shop on the wrong day because I'm getting the bottom of the barrel
What if no one better comes along?
What if that was my only chance?
I'm so afraid it was
And now that it's ruined I'm destined to be alone because
People always told me I could do better
this is a really cool poem since it is easy to identify with. although i have never dated, i feel it is also applicable to sports and stuff.
