A new life takes form in a womb

Will a person result or  

Will this be its tomb.



I hear them cry, "It is my choice"

To keep or terminate

The unborn's voice.



I say, "You made your choice, so please don't beg

When you opened yourself

And allowed him to inseminate your egg."



"You play you pay" is how I choose.

Consequences of an action

Ingrained since I was two.



You think the price is to high, and say

"It would ruin my life if I keep the child."

Think no life would really ruin your day?



Think about long term, if this life you take

Nightmares about possibilites

Thinking of the life you took for a life you could make.



You have a choice, make it wise.

If you conceive then kill

You commit murder in God's eyes.



There is no greater treasure than a child

A gift from God

And responsibility that shouldn't be taken mild.



It is as a child that we reach that higher plain

Abortion as a choice?

You have so much to lose, so much to gain.



There is no choice after the beginning of life

Destroying what God made

Will surely bring strife.



Make your choice before you conceive.

Before making that mistake

Take responsibility.
