She sits and contemplates.
The meanings of all her observations.
This world is such a great mystery.
She watches, she learns, she feels pain and regret.
She laughs, she cries, she dances and smiles.
She gets confused and caught up in the illusions.
They're better than real life.
Her imagination so strong.
She makes mistakes sometimes.
Caught up in delusion.
She chases ghosts... and tries to talk to them.
Sometimes they talk back to her. When this happens.
She is delighted. Full of joy in her imaginary world.
Sometimes she gets caught up in play.
She wants to dance with everyone.
Spinning around with glee.
But some people look at her with... disgust.
They think all this spinning around with glee,
is looking more like insanity.
They judge her and point their fingers and laugh.
Some of them yell demeaning words at her.
They make her feel like she's a bad person.
They instill guilt and shame.
She doesn't know how to stop it from hurting.
She cowers and cries.
Sometimes she stands up an yells.
Trying to quiet the voices that won't stop putting her down.
They're all in her head.
It's just her imagination acting up again.
But she thinks this world is multidimensional.
So she believes the voices are real.
She listens. Intently.
She really prefers when they say nice things.
When they are mean. They are really mean. She screams.
Please stop! Please! I can't hear anymore.
She tries to quiet their voices. Repeating her special word in her mind.
She takes a deep breath and tells herself everything will be fine.
But the demon voices come back in and spit their disgust.
She takes another deep breath.
And another... and another.... her mind quieting....
She allows her mind to let go of the fears.
Sometimes they take a little while... to silence.
Oh, those tremendous fears.
They sure do try to get the best of her sometimes.
