It’s flattering to be sure.  I can take the compliment with a smile—and I must admit my curiosity has been piqued.  But I’m not so sure it’s the lifestyle adjustment I’m looking for.  I don’t respond well to commands and demands—or pain.  I spent most of my adult life fighting to get people out of chains.  Why do I suddenly want to subject myself to it?    I just don’t see myself donning a leather teddy anytime in the near future.  I don’t need to have my scrotum scrubbed with sandpaper to know I wouldn’t enjoy it.
