I wake up each morning and often wonder,
How much I have and what life has to offer.
Sometimes I don't think anyone cares,
Then you show me in your way you're always there.
I see things wrong and often cry,
But you say don't give up! You have to try.
I'm doing my best and gaining some ground,
I have to say I am so grateful you're around.
For if you weren't I would be sad,
Cause your the best friend I ever had.
Everyday you check on me my dear friend,
To make sure I am smiling and feeling good again.
I feel stronger and more happy to,
When you say things will be better I promise you.
I'm holding on everyday,
To know I could be loved and cared for someday.
And I wish the same for you,
Because you deserve it so much to.
Your unselfish,loving,strong and wise,
You would light up the darkest sky.
For maybe fate has brought us together,
And I know someday it will be better.
I'll always love and cherish you,
For all the wonderful things you do.
