I love you dearly and care for you,

I wrote this poem just for you.

When I think of you I feel brand new,

That there is nothing I couldn't do.

When your gone I am sad,

Because your the best friend I ever had.

Being in your life is so fun,

There would never be a reason to run.

To see you smile warms my heart,

To know your there is the best part.

I listen and learn to the things you've taught,

You made me see things I long forgot.

I wish you weren't so far away,

But I would miss you anyway.

You've open my eyes so I could see,

That there are so many possibilities.

I try so hard everyday,

And sometimes seem so faraway.

Sometimes I forget and life gets me down,

But you always seem to bring me around.

It's the little and simple things you do,

That makes it easy to be with you.

You're a father, and a son and my best friend to,

So many think the world of you.

And I promise this because it is true.

Whenever you need me I'll be there for you.

Blue jays, Cardnials, Brooks and Streams,

With you are included in my dreams.

I'll hold on tight and always remember,

We'll see each other in December.

A dream is a wish your heart makes this is true,

And my wish has been granted because of you.

Once upon a time there was this girl,

Who was afraid to go out into the world.

She'd been hurt and lost and couldn't find her way,

She was lonely and sad nearly everyday.  

She found someone who is patient and kind,

And that things will be better he promised in time.    

That with faith, hope and trust she kept deep inside,

There was never a reason to want to hide.

He brought her out into the world once more,

And she felt safe, comfort and more secure.

Baby steps he said you must try to do,

He also said don't worry I'll be here for you.

She found a some meaning and her life was renewed,

For I am this girl and this someone is you!
