I like the interplay of words and the allusions you cast. Its all written 0ff as wacky history right under our noses though these age old practices have never really died, they have evolved and we are sleep dogs lying to ourselves that the big bad wolf is only in fairy tales...

Cush was the father of the Nubians who worshipped Anubis God of the underworld Who was a dog human hybrid. I made the reference of the Canaanites to Anubis because many of their practices were dog/animal like/bestial so they might as well have worshipped Anubis as their god even though the god of the Canaanites was Baal/Satan not Anubis.

Help me out please . . . I tried to find a connection between Anubis and Canaan, and came up blank. I have never heard of the connection although, admittedly, my knowledge of the Old Testament is not extensive. Would you tell me the source, Biblical or otherwise, of the Anubis-Canaan connection? You have stiirred up my curiosity.
