To let the ice melt.

Like warm Felt.
I want to let my heart Defrost,
To let it beat again.
Only thing is,
I can't let it become soft.
Cause if I do,
I'll fall for you,
And what if you drop me?
Then I'll break and shatter,
And be nothing more then red stained glass on the floor.
I must keep my heart strong,
Hard like a rock.
Cause if I don't,
I'll be broken like before.
Like the ones who left me,
Smashed, broken, and torn.

Someone call the national guard!

Protected from harm.

I think out of both of us, I know. Iv been hurt prob more times then you have. I know that. But I don't like to assume every persons Satan, instead, I give benefit of the dout. Cause it's the right thing to do. Plus the few people I hold high in my life, won't and have never hurt me. Iv been hurt before, I deal with it, cause the pain, was worth the shot I took for happiness n love, worth the good times that I had with them, and worth learning., oh and worth giving the chance TO DO GOOD! Not all people are bad, maybe you should see that.

Oh I'm not saying ever person is bad, and I give every one equal chances. You have to prepare for best, expect the worst. People hurt people sad fact, I try to be everyones friend and get nothing back half the time. I'm not giving up but it makes it harder to trust
