She sat beside the window,

And watched him drive away,

She felt like she'd do anything,

If only he would stay,



With all the love they'd shared,

All the time that they had spent,

She knew when she first saw him,

That he was Heaven sent,



Chorus 1:

And she knew,

That she had to have him back,

And she knew,

That she was on the right track,



She phoned him at the hotel,

She was almost in tears,

As she spilled out all the sadness,

The anger and the fears,



He said "I know exactly how you feel,

We need to talk,

Can you meet me at the resturaunt?

Then we'll go for a walk."

And she knew,

That she would see him soon,

And she knew,

It would be this afternoon



She said "That's fine with me,"

And they hung up the phone,

She felt the burden lift,

And thought "Maybe he'll come home."



She dressed in fifteen minutes,

Walked down to the cafe,

When she saw him standing there,

She didn't know what to say,

She rushed into his arms,

They walked back home together,
