I'm just alone in this world,

No one to care for or comfort me,

Despite my "friends" and my family,

I'm just alone in this world.



I want somebody to love,

Someone to take me away from here,

A man who will wipe away my tears,

I need someone to be mine,

Someone to lean on when I'm not strong,

Who stands for me even when I'm wrong,

I need someone to be mine.



I'd love to lay down and sleep,

Let all my troubles wash far away,

Dream and not wake up for days,

I am a ghost to you all,

Never noticed or cared about,

I search endlessly for a way out,
