I write what I feel

I write what I feel

The words flow

Sometimes hard and fast

Like a staccato beat

Other times they come

Slow and softly,

Like a child crawling into

Her mothers bed

The words are mine alone

And everyone’s

A piece of me exposed

Bare for all to see

Much like myself

Less then perfect

But still with value

If only to me

Poetry should be felt. Good that you write what you feel. I have a poem somewhat like this, but this one's better, it flows more easily.

Keep writing this way. I write what I feel and I treasure each and every piece as if it was my first. I love your smooth blending and like "Staccato" fast pace and to the point. Please cont. you have me hooked. Linda

like a staccato beat thump thump, so fast and quick tunderous are your words to the ears sweet wispers are your words to lovers so take a moment and write what you feel alas, you're right for only you can cherish them like none other. but some can just stand back and be silent admirers keep up the good work! gung ho!
