2003-04-13 You Tell Me

Folder:
Book: Castle View

There's a wonderful moon,
A wonder full moonlight
There for us tonight.
The moon not fully out,
But with light so bright
To cast shadows
As you leave pass the dogwoods.

You tell me I am deep red wine,

Full and warm
Like the cabernet sauvignon,
Warm on the tongue,
Warm to the soul.
I bring you such pleasure,
So much comfort.

You tell me you love my smell,

My breath, and body,
A scent that arouses you
Between my breast,
Along my arms.
This is the magic
You capture from my sweat.

You tell me this in the after love,
Wrapped in the candle light,
Flickering, stuck we are from sweat
And sweet juices.
You are light in my arms,
The strength in your hands
Holding me, I feel your breath.

Love song fill my head
As the moon light,
Intoxicating, takes you away,
Back to your home.
The strength it takes to leave,
From the comfort we bring
To each other, in the full moonlight.

Author's Notes/Comments:

When he speaks, I hold my breath because what he tells me chases all the darkness from inside me.  All the dark thoughts all the dark longings and lamenting disappear when he speaks.

Intriguing write. When he speaks he takes away all fears. That in itself is a beauty not too many women know! Enjoy the love you share, for it is few and far between! :)
