Something sweet is something they're missing,
The Jaws that twist are always kissing,
And spreading lies like summer send-offs,
Like you and me are always on fire.
Left to Digest,
The way I feel.
Behind my eyes,
Has never been.
This electric,
And the things I see,
Are so much brighter,
Than they've ever been.
Everyone forgets,
What we need.
Is an emergency,
To see what you mean to me.
And the power cut out,
And you're out at sea.
So I'll light my candles,
Till you come back to me.
Half the world behind me,
But you're by my side.
There something telling me,
I'm not wasting my time.
And the people who "love" us,
Want to see us fail.
So our fall can make their
Lives less stale,
Cause everyone is fucked up,
And we're all freaks,
But we're something,
They wish they'd been.
And I'll never see what
You say you see in me,
And I'll always love how
You'd leave it hanging for me.
The head will pass by,
But leave your hands with me.
I'll wash you up on my arms shores,
And shower you with certainty.
That we're all going to make it,
But we don't know how,
But I swear when we get there
We'll never need to drown.
