If hate had eyes what would they see,

If love had form what would it be,

If light could die and darkness live

Would what one took the other give

If all rich men gave to the poor

And no lock was needed on a door

If good was bad and bad was good

And everyone was understood

If guns and knives were not used wrong

And everyone liked every song

The world wouldn't last a day

So the way it is is the way it should stay.
