What soft graceful petals,

Display bright, eye-catching color,

Like the dawn displays beauty of a seascape,

Unforgettable,

Like her delightful smell,

Fragrant and inviting,

I am careful tho,

Wits about me as I cradle her,

Thorns may prick sensitive skin,

And I may cringe,

Yet still a gentle flower she remains in my eyes.
