Now I do understand,

That it was a dream.



But you know if I knew it would be the last time to see him,

I would have probably grabbed his hand,

And kissed it!



If I knew it would have been the last time to see him,

I would have got in the wrong bed that he was in,

And said, ?I?m coming with you Grandpa!?



If I knew it would have been the last time to see him,

I would have told him I loved him more than a hundred times!



But you know I didn?t know it was going to be the last time to see him,

So I didn?t get to do all the things I wanted to do and say!



But I tell you that every time you see someone you love,

Don?t forget to tell them, ?I love you,?

Or give them a hug!



And do mean it,

Because you never know that it could happen to you,

What did happened to me!



But all I know is that my grandpa wants me here,

Because he left me behind to spread the word,

And enlighten the people that don?t know it!



Because if he didn?t I wouldn?t be here today,

But I do understand that he cares about me,

And that he did love me!



He left me behind so I can do the things that he didn?t get to do,

And now I do appreciate it a lot,

Because I have inspired people,

To want to be like me!



Now you know that if you see your friends at the end of the day,

Don?t forget to say something that might be the last time that you will get to say it,

And don?t forget to mean it!



Because now I cry to this day,

Because I didn?t get to say or do all that I wanted before he died,

All I got to do the last time was say, ?I love you,?

And I gave him a hug!



I will never forget him,

I love you grandpa!
