until I experience something tangible
like a riot
or being told to wear a star.
Perfect. I couldn't think of
Perfect. I couldn't think of a better way to encapsulate this crushing, surreal, oppressive feeling that we could be hurtling toward something more dystopian than we ever imagined. A brilliant wake-up call.

Agreed. You are a thousand percent correct. The present Commandeer in Chief knows just enough about history, which he learns, apparently, from documentaries, to repeat its nastier episodes. He needs to be returned to his monopoly games with hotels and country clubs and leave governance to those who truly represent all American people.
