Lament of the Greystar

Fear no more, the sting of the grave

Though winter's furies around thee rage.

For thou, the pain never see.

Home thou art gone and safety be.

Fear no more, the touch of fear

Nor the saddening weight of tears

Ne'er again shall thy soul be broke

For thou art past the tyrant's stroke.

Author's Notes/Comments:

A funeral song of a girl for her deceased twin brother. Inspired by Shakespeare's funeral song in Cymbeline.
