Looking into my heart, I find a life full of sin
which tears me apart. I’m blind. To a life full of sin . . .
I shall not become resigned to a life full of sin.
I shall confess, and be cleansed from my life of sin.
Jesus awaits my repentance, holding a new start
out to me, as I depart from my life full of sin.
Why did I ever start living a life full of sin?
Why did I depart from His ways to a life full of sin?
Oh that my heart was not inclined to a life of sin,
that to Him, I could truly bind my heart, full of sin
as it now is, my heart can truly be cleansed
from all my wretchedness by His blood and righteousness.
A life full of sin or righteousness is a man’s choice.
Only the selfish ones choose the life full of sin.
