A Lady

There is a lady, that is elusive,

as the deer are in the woods

Always hiding in the thickets,

hardly seen and understood

She has great beauty

and can prance up a storm

Her scent wafts gently

through the briers and the thorns

But she is like the hunters

who stalk her for a prey

She understands their motives

and how they like to play

Her hair is brown and soft

and her eyes are that way too

They match her background,

and its hard to see her unless she moves

But oh what a wonder,

if of her a glimse you see

And as she passes by

the birds, may even start to sing

She strides with passion

along the forest floor

Walking among the soft colored flowers

and deep green grass galore

The sun shining through the trees

reminds me of her glowing smile

And the sky with its blues,

of her soft and sultry style

She sometimes wonders to the streams

to drink and quench her thirst

And if your quick, you can see her there,

but you need to get there first

All of the other creatures

acknowledge her as she passes through

Her breasts and hind are white and soft

like alabaster and morning dew

She may even walk just close enough

for you to see her too

And then shes sweeps off again

so fast and so soon

But she comes out of her hiding

when a buck she may see

And flirts with him and guides him

with her whistles loud and free

He heads to her side

for the time is very short

With romantic sounds of love

and with a great big snort

Then they will play together

in the countryside of the wild

Until the time comes for them to part

and go alone again for awhile

So if you pay attention,

one day you just might see

The one that is a lady,

thats the one for me
