Men Are Marvelous

Imagine the male form for a moment
if you will, in profile, back dropped
by bright blue light, below the hip
above the thigh, I make no
apology for the favored view.

A male brain is no more a question
mark than a female's. Mars is
a metaphor for earth, so is Venus.
Males have the same wonder
at their bodies as females. The parts
are different which make for great
contemplation of the opposite.
Males are marvels.
.
Male and man are as different
as sire and father, the way female
and woman differ from siresse
and mother. But pardon my
preferences of view. Women
in the showers are just plain
embarrassing, I would love
to visit a men’s shower for the
special (e)affects.
Men have a different perspective
and nurtured or natured, they
see the world from eyes of steel.
Most of them. However males
who see the world through softer
eyes have born well condemnation
from cross eyed cultures. I think
males who are men, state clearly
how they walk, but nod respect
to their counterparts who prefer
males as mates.

I don’t get women looking at profiles
of women when men are statuesque
marvelous. It is so egalitarian that now
in movies we get to see better profiles
of male anatomy and not just the female
parts I see all the time in a mirror
after a shower.

Thought Provoking
Disliking most men that I have come to know, I find this poem very thought provoking and a casue of further reconsideration of the subkect. Like certain Russian theologians of the last century, I believe that women are the pinnacle of Creation (the account in Genesis also suggests this), but perhaps one should give Father Adam his due as well.

Balance of Judgment
Sometimes, I find myself challenging males to be men - that is wrong. Males and females have the choice to become whatever they wish. Like adults who refuse to be adults preferring childhood or ignorance as bliss. Balance is important to a writer - to see the whole, not just the mirror view, Thank you for the read and thought provoking comment ~~A~~
