Nobody could see the pain I was feeling
behind all the smiles were the tears,
and behind all the comfort were the fears.

When you hurt me deep inside,
I try so hard to hide the pain.
But my soul begins to ache,
I fight back the tears the best I can.

You are my best friend,
I love you all deep within
I feel the love should not
bring tears into my eyes.

I am not sure how much
more I could take this pain
I am putting my best face
in front of the world

I am faking another smile
and just pretending
Nothing ever really
happened to me .

I am putting off
the pain from my mind..
