Choosing money over nursing their peace
Why do people live the way they do?
Bow down to war and chaos
Sacrifice their right to choose
You have one chance only in the game of life
You're either a robot to the system
Or rejected for doing what's right
Welcome to the land of the free
Where freedom is only a lie
Unless you have blood of the wealthy,
A Y-chromosome, and skin that's white
And again I ask with all my might,
Why does man hold on so tight?
You have your own thoughts
And a damn mighty brain
Why not use them now to end this Age of Rain?

something cs lewis said in "the abolition of man" went something along the lines of this:
every step man takes in conquest of nature is just a tactful retreat on nature's part. we find that when a rich man owns too many things, he is consumed with keeping up these things. it is not he who owns his things, but the things own him. it is the same here. by conquering nature, we will one day find, when the last step is taken, that it was actually nature that conquered us.

I agree with you fully here.
I also really like your thought that it will be nature who conquered us. I've never really thought about it like that, but it's certainly true. I guess it goes to say that in the end, nature will always win. You cannot fight mother nature; she will always have her way.

Until you got sexist and racist at the same time
But if that is what you believe that is what you believe.
I have no problems with a person stating what they believe in.
That dont mean their right .

America is great if you're a white man, don't get me wrong.
Have you had the chance to experience life as a woman? Don't fucking think so. Don't even assume you know what life is like for an impoverished young woman. Do you think that's fun? Do you think that's freedom?
Yeah, you try walking five blocks down the street having to be on high alert because you have to worry about getting jumped, robbed, or even, dare I say it, raped. Tell me how that feels. Tell me how it feels knowing that no matter how hard you work for the rest of your life, you'll never escape poverty level because you weren't born into a well-off family.
Freedom MY ASS.
And DON'T even get me started on the oppression people of different races experience. If you don't see that, I don't know what kind of rock you are living under.

I don't consider myself jaded, I just see things for what they really are! Which is okay. We are all entitled to our own opinion, and I don't expect everyone to agree with mine. That's fine with me.

its hard being a woman alone,not enuff money,living in neighborhoods she can barely afford,
meanwhile ,meth addicts all aroundme,trying to break in every Friday night,me having to grab my gun and threaten them. I'be not shot anyone but,one came in while I was napping.
i had to aggressively chase that fucker out. Forgot my gun,just ran him out and up a fence And daytime!
much much more for I me to write about....
I certainly know what it's like to be a woman in this crazy world in a poor neighborhood.
