here's your poetic license
kick the tires of a weary mind and get behind the wheel
it’s got a picture of you on the flip side
come on start up the engines let your imagination go for a ride
this journey of poetry in motion, where your name is cryptic
this permit to suspend life and let dreams begin
where the sidewalk widens until you’re on the road again
this pass can sanction feelings and let your tongue thrash
careful with your speed you never want to crash even when you wrote trash
you like it like slam poetry and don’t really give damn
spoken words and written words and the bird is the word
at least that is what I heard when your creative you’re singular not part of the herd

amazing
amazing. this piece touches my heart, poetic soul, and one of my favorite poems i've read. i hope one day you can get this published.
Thank you, I am glad
that you enjoyed the ride, and I see by your own works of art that you are not a "backseat driver". You have your own, "Right of Way" when it comes to being singular, unique and creative.
As for published, hmmm maybe, I've been approached by a few publishers, not sure I'm ready to submit, it sounds like work to me.
This place, POSTPOEMS, is a kind of refuge for me. I love it here, for me it is special place, full of special people, that write such special collections of ideas and feelings. This is a place where I can be me and somebody else all at the same time...
