The scar's you don't see
sometimes I'm hurting but no one can see my pain or fear
I put on a smile for others to see so no ones aware
they cant see the turmoil inside how can that be
just because they don't know about the scar's they don't see
they are blind to the warning sign's in front of there eye's
our pain go's unnoticed so no one can see the tears or the cries
i wish for one day that you can see thru our eyes and be
compassionate and understanding of the scar's you don't see
but some people mean well but don't know why I'm sad
the feelings that you cant describe often it makes me mad
so the next time you go out look past the mask that's the key
and it might just surprise you the scar's you don't see
