HOW WILL I ever?
Title: How will I ever?
How will I ever, get over you?
I ask myself that; every day or two!
When we became friends, way back when...
I had found someone who's friendship; would never end!
As the years passed, I fell in love...
I kept it secret from all; but God up above!
I Was afraid; I'd lose my best friend...
And that was the one thing, I didn't want to ever end!
Then on my birthday, you gave me a kiss,
It was so real, I suffered a rush of pure bliss!
No one had ever, done that to me...
I even wrote a poem, that one day you'd see!
Then a couple years later, you did it once more...
I fell deeper in love, of that I was sure!
You were the one, no doubt in my mind.
God made it clear, you were one of a kind.
To me you were perfect; in every way...
You lit up my life, each morning; every day.
How can I ever, find someone new?
No one can inspire my love; the way that you do!
Sadly I admit; now, with each passing day
I miss you more and more, in every way!
So... Can you please tell me, what can I do?
To let go of the love, I still have for you?
