Contemplating on an aspect of nature during an August evening.

FOR WHOM DO THE DEWDROPS WEEP?

Author's Notes/Comments:

Inspired by the changing weather of August. As dusk fell I could feel the dew in the evening breeze and the way it was washing the dusty faces of almost each and every leaf and flower. We see these beautiful dewdrops as S.T. Coleridge describes in a poem as "the gems of morning" but then contemplates to call them as the "tears of mournful eve". This made me mull as well and this poem is the result. I seem to have been conveyed a divine message of living by the dewdrops and I have tried to share this impression in my work. Hope readers like it. All rights reserved by the author.
