A love poem tinged with sadness

SPRING, RAIN AND TEARS OF LOVE

*HEATHCLIFF: The passionate lover of Katherine in Emily Bronte's novel "Wuthering Heights". THis poem came to me as I saw the rainfall in the plains and snow on the hills. And at times like this how can I not miss my ever beautiful and adorably divine Daphne John.

MY 'CATHY'

Author's Notes/Comments: 

Again, this is one of those poems I composed for Daphne -- rediscovered from an old edition of "Great Expectations" -- Charles Dickens' famous novel.

Heathcliff and Cathy (Catherine/Katherine Earnshaw) are the hero and heroine of Emily Bronte's tragic love novel "Wuthering Heights". I have used their names here as a metaphorical comparison.
