I wrote this because i'm it'll change mind they at people diabilities. and we'll viewed humans too and not thought of as retarts.
This poem is written in respone to "Alone." It was written a few months later.
I wrote this poem as a gesture of sisterhood in a number of ways: an ode to the changing population in my community from predominately black to predominately latino and to my sisters, who are half mexican.
