This poem I decided to write in defence of women, who are so often blamed by men or husband. The way of the Christian husband is to love his wife as the messiah loved his church, and not hurt her.
Decades ago, when I dreamed of being an archaeologist, this was the way I wanted it to be. This poem was inspired by Wallace Stevens' poem, "Postcard From The Volcano"
