This is a fictional poem but sadly it's true for some people.

My uncle died this morning in the Philippines.  Before this happened, my uncle had a terminable disease and my dad, when he heard this last week, immediately made flight plans to the Philippines.  He hasn't seen his younger brother in 26 years.  (My dad never returned to the Philippines for that long).  After hearing upon his death, my dad is still going there...  Sorry, I'm about to cry.  Rest in peace Uncle.  :(
