Christ's glorious resurrection effectively secured eternal life for every human being. Those redeemed to the Common Salvation will enjoy that life forever, in Christ's presence, in Heaven; the damned will suffer that life, forever, each ostensibly alone and in darkness, and with no comforting companionship in, or from, the multitudes also there.
