Her forecast appears stormy,
horizon line is dim,
with fog hanging so low-
prospect of sunshine-slim.

Outside the sun may be,
but inside its not the case.
It fades into a darkness-
gone without a trace.

Weather beaten and weary,
she slowly draws down her shade,
hiding in the shadows,
she feels alone and so afraid.

Misty eyed, she stares out,
so acutely aware of her pain.

On many days, such as this-
she's cloudy with a chance of rain.
