Once again, this was another "excercise." This
time, I decided to re-write
an Emily Dickinson classic,
and give it a sick twist of
my own. A former english
professor of mine did this once as well, and it
"inspired" me to do the same.
Okay there's not many people who would get this poem and its not really serious, theres sum inside jokes in there. But I really do miss him a lot. And you know now that I think of it... It says "too bad i can't touch" actually i did get to lol... alleyway by the movies. oh the memories. =)
written in the early 90's excerpt from a bad romance novel I read the man and woman meet at the funeral of a mutual old friend and have this really scathing conversation at the guy's grave site the book over all wasn't that good but that opening scene at the grave where they meet after not seeing each other in years was pretty funny so I took on the personality of these two zany joke cracking star crossed lovers and wrote this poem which by the way like the old child was published in some obscure magazine or newspaper or anthology that nobody has heard of.
