When I was a child so long ago
I read so many fairy tales
I’d dream of my own prince coming
To carry me away.
But, alas, the charming prince I found
Just turned into a frog
And my childhood dreams were left behind
To slowly fade and die.
Once again I found myself alone
And dreams came trickling back
Just maybe my prince was still out there
And he would find me now.
And miraculously, one day I found
My prince just standing there
He asked me out and I said yes
The rest is in the books!
