This is a very timely piece. : This is a very timely piece. I think the Innkeeper poses as much danger to our democracy as the Bavarian Housepainter or the failed lawyer from Simbirsk posed to their respective nations.
I reported you for: I reported you for harassment! I told you what I write is fiction!
If you have a problem with me take it in private not public!
Better yet call me!
I'll set you straight!

You may not like..: You may not like what I say
But in this country called the USA
I needn't fear that words of criticism, dear
Be it from me or anyone else here
Would be a reason to arrest us
I sincerely hope and pray
I really hope you change your way
You have the talent, I agree
To create good poetry
Just hope you're wearing pants of asbestos
Thank you so much, that is: Thank you so much, that is quite a compliment. The poem emerged from a humorous conversation at the same time I was reading Shiki---a moment when two different waves came to shore at the same time. Thanks again for your visit to the poem.
Stunning in its grace,: Stunning in its grace, encapsulated wisdom, majestic simplicity and agile delivery. I can actually imagine this as classic poetry, worthy of being quoted and remembered always.
Huge respect and applause!
After reading a Shiki, I can: After reading a Shiki, I can honestly say that his essence blazes fierce and eloquent within your words. Poignant, victorious and precious, this work of art deserves to be framed and displayed for the ages. And I’m not blowing smoke. Mean that.
Congratulations, fine Poet!
Nothing to forgive, I am glad: Nothing to forgive, I am glad for your kind words, and yes she seems to have bounced back very well. Her appetite is good, and she seems to be quite alert . . . when she isn't taking a snooze on her pile of blankets.
I can relate to your pain,: I can relate to your pain, sir. It's hard to accept that, though we do the best we can for animals that are dear to us, we can't always know the signs in time. For the things you could not help, the love that you gave to Hazel, I'm sure was ever present to her through even her sickness. I'm sure hers, for you, was, and it's clear, does carry on, as well. This is a beautiful, heart wrenching tribute. It seems to justice to the care involved.
All the best to you.
That is beautiful. I: That is beautiful. I appreciate the timing of this, as I was just - yet again - a learner on the value of silence as I experienced a power outage yesterday. In a sense, I experienced many of the seasons of silence you so poetically touch on, in one evening in the dark. To find your poem here, re-enforcing my renewed experience, is appreciated.
I M SICK OF YOU SPREADING: I M SICK OF YOU SPREADING RUMORS AND LIES!
i HATE NAZI!
If you do not take this sick and cruel comment down i will report you!
You have crossed the line too damn much with me!
