one may ask, what lies in wait,
is it destiny or is it fate,
do we make our own outcome,
or is it maybe already done,
so what of the choices then do we
have to change what just could be

chances you take,
decisions may make,
who’s to say
it makes a difference anyway.

to some blind faith leads the way
others they feel
it plays no part in the deal

that somehow they’re also lead

not knowing what they’ll find
