Walking alone on a cold, rainy night,
All alone in the fog,
No one in sight,
Scars in her heart,
More on her arms,
Damn Cupid's love dart.
But the words replay in the back of her mind,
She hears her mother say,
"Things will all work out in the end."
A shrink just smiles and pretends to understand,
She lies to hide the pain they make her feel,
They seem to not care if she no longer stands,
Giving her the most useless advice,
So she lies and says that she is alright,
Their words will not suffice.
But the words replay in the back of her mind,
She hears her father say,
"Things will all work out in the end."
The peers at school try to start a fight,
She pretends to not notice,
But she cries all night,
Thinking of love and how it never comes,
She dreams and dreams but it fades away,
She ends up sucking dicks of hobos and bums.
But the words replay in the back of her mind,
She hears her friends say,
"Things will all work out in the end."
She thinks the pain will never cease,
She relieves her stress by cutting,
Inserting the blade into her skin piece by piece,
Bleeding all over the floor,
Wondering will and when this will all be over,
She's turning herself into the bloodsucker's whore.
But the words replay in the back of her mind,
She hears God say,
"Things will all work out in the end."
Waking up in hard, cold sweat,
Shivering and shaking,
Waking up to a threat,
Subconciously scratching and no one to help,
Nightmares emerging through her greatest fears,
Waking up to her own yelp.
But the words replay in the back of her mind,
She hears the devil say,
"Things will all work out in the end."
The ending crawls closer,
She's bringing it on herself,
No one seems to be able to free her,
She brings matters to her own hands as she picks up the knife,
She slits and slashes each vien and artery she touches,
She took matters into her own hands and ended her life.
But the words replay in the back of her mind,
All she could hear was Satan say,
"Things will all work out in the end."
