I ran to find you here
Stricken with your chains of compassion
You lay there, struggling to break free of your emotions
Lost in your mind, you seek to find your salvation
To find that which will comfort you
But your path is darkened, no light to find the way
You wander aimlessly
My shadow appears into your mind
Emanating light shining through my body
Reaching out my lending hand, taking yours into mine
We embrace the soft touch of each others skins
Our lips meet graciously upon each other
Your eyes sparkling like a lake at the mornings dawn
Your heart beating the truth of your mind
Yet, something causes it to be inebriated
Reach inside to your heart
Let the shadows dissipate
Step to the light with a clear mind
Never turn back at what was behind you
The past is said and done
The future holds new beginnings and wonderful endeavours
But only if you choose to let the darkness take you
Will you be forever chained by your emotions and thoughts
