I feel more alive

The night I spent with you

Proved our friendship through and through



I realize now, words you spoke to me

A clouded image of fate and destiny

You showed me tonight what a friend really is

I feel now that I can pass your quiz



Even though we may not be romantic

With every smile, my heart beats frantic

There will always be that feeling of lust

But it is within you, I put my full trust



All the twists and turns we don't forget

We never look back, never regret

And after all is said and done

You will always be my number one



The tears of joy as I write this

Fill my soul with unbounded bliss

I care for you more than ever before

You are my centerpiece, my core



Our hearts continuously blend

The pain between us, we both mend

And even if we never date
